DHC Continus will return to pharmacies in February.Information on this matter was provided on January 25 by the portal Dobrzepolek.pl

- We received information from the manufacturer that DHC Continus in a dose of 90 mg is to be delivered to pharmacies in the first half of February this year, and 60 mg in the second half of February - informed the service.

DHC Continus is a prescription-only medicine.It contains the active substance dihydrocodeine tartrate, which belongs to a group of strong painkillers called opioids.It is used to treat severe cancer pain and other chronic (long-term) pains.

Due to the lack of access to medicines, the preparation was included in the latest anti-export list published in January, i.e. it was included in the list of medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices at risk of lack of availability on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

In total, 269 products are listed, including DHC Continus, Dihydrocodeini tartras., modified release tablets, 60 mg.In addition, other drugs at risk of shortage, includinginsulin, antipsychotics, anticoagulants or drugs used in bronchial asthma.
